Faith-based Capital Campaign: Your Blueprint to Readiness

Are you a congregational or faith leader considering a capital campaign but unsure where to start?

 

“The Spiritual Side of Capital Campaigns” course is designed to guide you through the discernment process:

  • how do you set a financial goal,
  • determine whether to engage an expert or consultant, and
  • develop a campaign rooted in the vision of your community.

This course will deepen your work in cultivating a spirit of generosity in your organization while equipping you with the tools to:

  • engage congregants and stakeholders,
  • create a compelling case for support, and
  • discern the first steps for the particular type of campaign right for your organization.

Join us to explore how to align your campaign with the mission of your organization and inspire meaningful giving!

Date and structure of program:

  • The online learning platform opens Tuesday, October 29; the first plenary session is Tuesday, November 5.
  • The class will meet live online one time each week via Zoom:
    – Tuesdays (November 5-19): Interactive 90 minute plenary session at 5:30-7:00 pm Eastern Time.
  • Additional resources provided through the learning platform.
  • In total, you can expect about two hours each week for synchronous and asynchronous lessons.

Cost:

  • $250 (full payment due by October 25, 2024). ECRF Alumni receive a $100 discount. Contact Anne Brock to get the code (anmbrock@iu.edu).
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made by October 25, 2024 may receive a refund of the amount paid less the deposit and $15 processing fee, or may transfer to another offering. Cancellations after that date may transfer to another offering. Please submit cancellations in writing to iuconfs@iu.edu.
