Adjunct Faculty Gathering 2026

August 18-19, 2026 in Indianapolis, IN. An opportunity to gather with Lake Institute on Faith & Giving staff and community of Adjunct Faculty.

Our objectives include:

    • learning from one another;
    • strengthening Lake Institute pedagogy; and
    • brainstorming ideas for additional educational offerings from Lake.

We are eager to equip our adjunct teaching faculty, and we also look forward to gathering and integrating your feedback as we continue to grow. We will spend time together addressing the challenges and opportunities facing Lake Institute’s primary audience as it relates to cultivating generosity. We will consider the changing landscape of religious giving and discuss pedagogy and best practices for engaged learning.

Event Details

Location: Bottleworks Hotel, 850 Massachusetts Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Meeting is in the Preston Room.

Start/End Time: The program will begin at 2 PM on Wednesday, August 18, and will conclude at 4 PM on Thursday, August 19.

Travel & Expenses: Please make your own travel arrangements. All travel expenses will be reimbursed, following the IU guidelines found here. Lodging and meals at Bottleworks Hotel during the gathering will be provided. To be reimbursed for your expenses, you may need to complete a form in advance of the gathering. If so, you will receive an email from Amber Harter with instructions after you’ve completed registration.
