LINES 2024
The purpose of the Lake Institute Network of Emerging Scholars (LINES) is to create, foster, and sustain an interdisciplinary field of scholarly research focusing on the broad relationship between religion and philanthropy.

Parking: Parking at Hyatt Place is available for free for all participants. Notify the front desk if you are parking at the hotel and you will receive a validation voucher that can be used to exit the parking garage.
Working Papers
Thank you for submitting your working papers. Please review all papers prior to our gathering so that you might be ready to engage with one another on your research. Please find a link to the working papers in your email (sent August 16).
Travel & Reimbursements
Planning your travel: As a reminder, participants are expected to be present for the full gathering, beginning Wednesday, September 11 at 12:00pm and concluding Friday, September 13 at 12:00pm. Lake Institute has booked your room at Hyatt Place Downtown and will provide meals for the duration of the gathering.
Reimbursements: Lake Institute will be able to reimburse transportation costs after the September gathering. You will need to keep all of your receipts for your airfare (first-class flights are NOT reimbursable per IU policies) and ground transportation to and from the airport. You should have received an email from supplier@iu.edu with instructions to complete your supplier registration form. This must be completed for you to be reimbursed for expenses in a timely manner.
