The ELCA developed "Stewards of God’s Love," a resource congregations can use for doing year-round stewardship ministry. Rooted in a holistic, biblically based approach to stewardship, "Stewards of God’s Love" challenges all Christians to reimagine the ways in which they steward God’s resources — time, talents and treasures — in response to God’s commandment to love God and our neighbors.

What Does Spirituality Mean to Us? A Study of Spirituality in the United States is a qualitative and quantitative inquiry into what spirituality looks like for people of all spiritual and religious backgrounds across the country.
The study is based on extensive interviews with leaders of 87 rural United Methodist Churches (UMC) across North Carolina. Information from these interviews was categorized and assigned a numerical value in six areas -- direct spending, education & childcare, magnet effect, individual impact, community serving programs, and outdoor recreation space.
