Q&A with Anne Brock, Associate Director of Operations

What inspired you to join Lake Institute?

After 13 years in youth ministry, I was looking for a change. My starting role at Lake Institute combined my experience in congregational ministry, event planning, and communications in a new and exciting way that was much needed.

How would you describe your role in one sentence?

I manage logistics and operations to make sure everyone has what they need to succeed.

What do you think is Lake Institute’s greatest contribution to the field of faith and giving?

The combination of research *and* practical resources to support congregations and religious non-profits and those who lead them.

What emerging trends or topics are you most excited about within the field of faith and giving?

New and imaginative ways congregations can use their resources to engage with the larger community.

What excites you the most about the future of Lake Institute?

We have a great team! Each person brings their own unique gifts that help the team work so well together. I’m excited to see how our emerging research agenda will strengthen our educational programs.
